The 7th International Marine Conservation Congress

As part of the 7th International Marine Conservation Congress in October, in Cape Town, South Africa, BioEcoOcean project members, Lina Mtwana Nordlund (UU) and Artur Palacz (IOPAN) are organizing a focus group on “Co-Creating a Blueprint for Integrated Ocean Science: Fostering Collaboration for a Sustainable Future.”

The 1-day event preceding the Congress invites participants from around the world who are interested in contributing to the co-creation of the Blueprint, and who are involved in any part of the ocean observing value chain During the focus session, we will identify challenges and questions that if answered would support more integrated, collaborative and open ocean observing of the ocean and its marine life.
