Fieldwork for Mapping Intertidal Macroalgae at Viana do Castelo

Last autumn, CIIMAR was engaged in fieldwork for mapping intertidal macroalgae with an RGB and multispectral Unoccupied Aerial Vehicle (UAV) at Viana do Castelo region (northern Portugal) with the collaboration of the SME eye2map.

 

The UAV data will be integrated into future satellite (Sentinel-2) workflows for mapping intertidal macroalgae of northern Portugal.
