The Global Ocean Observing System (GOOS), the BioEcoOcean HorizonEU project, the Marine Biodiversity Observation Network (MBON GEO BON) and the AIR Centre - Atlantic International Research Centre are organising a special webinar series focusing on the GOOS Biology and Ecosystems Essential Ocean Variables (BioEco EOVs) - the minimum set of variables needed to assess the state of the ocean and its biodiversity.

The first webinar will introduce the BioEco EOVs, explaining their concept in detail to foster a broad understanding and uptake, while also focusing on the importance of data management.

This introductory webinar, “Introduction to GOOS Biology and Ecosystems Essential Ocean Variables (BioEco EOVs) and Data management”, will be held at two different time zones, hosted by GOOS and the Marine Biodiversity Networking Fridays, respectively.
